DGR is recruiting, on behalf of a leading insurance company, for an Engineer Surveyor to join their technical team. In this role, you will conduct engineering equipment assessments, support teams with technical expertise, and deliver high-quality reports that meet company and ISO90001 standards. Conduct equipment inspections and engineering consultancy services within your technical discipline.
Efficiently manage your workload and ensure inspections are prioritised by due date.
Maintain compliance with the latest technical information, standards, client instructions, and health & safety procedures.
Apply engineering judgment to assess on-site safety and categorise equipment risks.
Coach colleagues and participate in new product development projects as required.
Accurately estimate project resources, manage projects for profitability, and contribute to planning and innovation within the team.
Complete and submit inspection reports on time and uphold quality assurance standards.
Help ensure business performance and operational targets are achieved.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
QQI Level 6 Higher Certificate in engineering (or an equivalent Irish qualification).
Extensive experience in a relevant technical discipline.
Demonstrable competence and recognition in accordance with Irish and/or European professional standards, such as accreditation or membership with Engineers Ireland, the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), or another recognised national/professional engineering body.
