HGV Lorry Driver – Trim (Co. Meath Area) Full-Time | €150 per day + allowances | Immediate start available We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Class C or CE preferred) to join a well-established transport operation working across Ireland. This is a stable, full-time opportunity offering excellent daily pay, structured hours, and long-term potential. The Role You will be responsible for the collection of food waste from supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants nationwide.
Based from a Trim depot (exact location shared at interview stage)
Solo driving role – you manage your own route independently
Modern HGV fleet provided
GPS-assisted route planning
Working Hours
5 days per week (mainly Monday–Friday)
Occasional Saturdays and Public Holidays may be required
Average: 40–45 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled food waste collections safely and efficiently
Complete daily vehicle checks (before and after shifts)
Maintain accurate collection and delivery records
Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport regulations
Keep vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well maintained
Communicate effectively with the operations team
Follow all health and safety procedures and participate in training
What We’re Looking For
Full, clean HGV licence (Class C or CE – CE preferred)
Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
Experience in waste, recycling, or logistics is an advantage
Strong reliability, organisation, and independence
Flexibility for early starts, occasional weekends, and public holidays
