DGR is hiring an experienced Production Operator / Forklift Driver for a long‑established chemical manufacturer in Finglas, Dublin 11, producing detergents, degreasers, disinfectants, skin care products and adhesives for industrial and retail customers.
The role You will work as part of a small production team in a chemical manufacturing environment, operating mixing and filling equipment, loading/unloading with a counterbalance forklift and following strict safety and quality procedures. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday role with no shift work or weekends.
Typical duties include:
Operating production and filling machinery for liquid chemical products
Weighing, measuring and mixing raw materials to batch specifications
Loading and unloading pallets and IBCs using a counterbalance forklift
Labelling, packing and palletising finished goods
Completing batch records and basic quality checks
Maintaining a clean, safe working area and following all PPE and safety rules
Must‑have requirements Candidates must have solid experience in a chemical production or chemical manufacturing environment – this is essential for the role.
Proven production/operatives experience in chemicals (blending, filling, batching or similar)
Valid counterbalance forklift licence
Valid Manual Handling certificate
Good understanding of health & safety and safe handling of chemicals
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and batch sheets
Reliable, punctual and comfortable with physical, hands‑on work
Nice to have
Experience in FMCG, industrial cleaning products, adhesives or similar liquid manufacturing
Previous experience working with ISO or quality‑controlled processes
