Here at Dangan Group we are hiring loader drivers for a quarry in Meath.
As a Loader Driver in a quarry, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically loaders, to transport and load materials such as rocks, sand, gravel, and other aggregates. Your primary objective will be to safely and efficiently load trucks, hoppers, and crushers while adhering to established safety protocols and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maneuver a loader in a safe and controlled manner to load materials onto trucks, hoppers, and crushers. Use the loader's controls to lift, scoop, and distribute materials as required.
Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety protocols. Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
Conduct routine pre- and post-operation inspections of the loader to ensure its proper functioning. Report any mechanical issues or abnormalities to the maintenance team promptly. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, lubricating, and cleaning the loader
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably loaders, in a construction or quarry environment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to follow safety protocols.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and other personnel.
