DGR are recruiting a warehouse manager to lead the warehouse, stock and facilities teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective operations that meet service, compliance and people targets. Provide support and deputy cover for transport and depot management as needed. Drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimise labour planning to cover all areas cost-effectively, especially during peaks, while minimising waste and hitting quality/productivity goals.
Monitor P&L, prepare monthly cost reports and build budgets aligned to volume forecasts.
Ensure top-tier service through proactive communication with customers, stakeholders and teams; adjust operations to meet changing needs.
Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety, quality standards and policies via audits, training and hazard controls.
Lead team performance, identify training needs, handle incidents and foster positive relationships across departments.
Champion company values, solve problems innovatively and implement process improvements for a safe, productive environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
Management in fast-paced FMCG, logistics or warehousing, ideally with multifunctional/split-shift teams.
Leading small/large teams in high-volume, spec-driven settings; P&L and budget management.
Passion for premium service; team leader who motivates, coaches and handles performance issues.
Strong planning, problem-solving and stakeholder influence; thrives under pressure with tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented, flexible with shifts and able to deputise for depot manager.
Excellent communication (verbal/written English) at all levels
