We are recruiting a Stock Control Supervisor to join a fast-paced pharmaceutical warehouse operation supplying pharmacies. This a temp to perm based role This is a key role responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and smooth stock control operations in a highly regulated environment. You will lead a small stock control team, work closely with Warehouse and Quality departments, and play a critical role in maintaining product availability, traceability, and compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
Duties
Supervise daily stock control activities within a pharmaceutical warehouse
Ensure accurate stock levels, batch numbers, and expiry dates within the WMS
Lead and coordinate cycle counts, full stock takes, and discrepancy investigations
Manage short-dated, quarantined, recalled, and returned stock
Ensure stock handling complies with GDP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Support internal, client, and regulatory audits
Produce stock reports and KPI data, identifying trends and improvements
Requirements
Proven experience in stock control or inventory supervision
Background in a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Confident using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Desirable
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated distribution
Knowledge of GDP or GxP standards
Experience managing batch-controlled and expiry-sensitive stock
