Dangan Group is recruiting a Delivery Van Driver for a leading parcel delivery company in Waterford. This is a full-time, permanent role working 8am-5pm, paying €33,111 per year (€14.15/hour based on a 45-hour week) A great opportunity for a van driver to join an established, busy delivery operation.
About the Role You'll be out on the road each day delivering parcels to homes and businesses across your route, making sure every customer gets their delivery on time. It suits a reliable, self-motivated driver who enjoys working independently and takes pride in good customer service.
Responsibilities - Load your van at the start of each shift and plan your drops - Deliver parcels to customers within strict daily time windows - Provide a friendly, professional service at every delivery - Carry out daily van checks and report any issues - Keep your van clean, tidy and well organised - Take on other duties as the operation requires
Must-haves - Full Category B driving licence held for more than 2 years - At least 1 year's van driving experience - Eligible to work in Ireland (EU work authorisation or Stamp 4) - Good communication skills and attention to detail - Flexibility with working hours when needed
Nice-to-haves - Parcel or multi-drop delivery experience - Good local knowledge of Waterford and surrounding areas
