B Licence Driver / Forklift Driver Location: Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive B Licence Driver / General Operative with valid Forklift Licence to join our team in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. The successful candidate must hold a full, clean Category B driving licence and a valid forklift licence. Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Two 15-minute breaks
One 30-minute break
Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
One 15-minute break
One 30-minute break
Rate of Pay
€16.00 per hour
€16.80 per hour for candidates with a Category C driving licence
A full, clean driving licence and a valid forklift licence are essential for this role. Responsibilities
Apply, maintain and replace safety tape and hazard lines to clearly designate walkways, storage areas and workspaces.
Assist the Production Manager and Team Leaders in keeping the production floor clear of clutter, manufacturing waste and potential hazards.
Assist with the clean-up of spills, water damage and other incidents as required.
Prepare and paint internal and external building areas, machinery and equipment as needed.
Support the maintenance team with minor repairs and general maintenance duties.
Carry out routine cleaning duties both inside and outside the facility, including:
Pressure washing loading docks, building facades, walkways and entryways.
Removing and treating weeds around the building perimeter, fences and parking areas.
Sweeping exterior paths, steps and waste areas to remove rubbish and debris.
Drive the company van or car to:
Collect parts, tools and supplies from local vendors.
Deliver products, documents or equipment safely and securely to clients or nearby locations.
Transport employees, visitors or clients between company buildings, airports or transit centres when required.
Assist with production work across different production teams when required.
Work closely and effectively with other departments.
Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
