Position: Food Waste Collection Truck Driver Location: Bia Energy Anaerobic Digestion Plant Huntstown Co.Dublin Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time 40 + Hours Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for driving a BIA truck to collect food waste from designated commercial locations. The collected material supports sustainable practices by being processed at a green energy plant. Key Responsibilities:
Operate a bin truck safely and efficiently along assigned routes
Collect food waste from multiple sites in compliance with environmental standards
Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
Maintain accurate collection records
Follow all road safety and company protocols
Requirements:
Valid C License with up-to-date CPC
Previous experience in waste collection or similar driving roles preferred
Strong punctuality and reliability
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
