DGR is currently hiring an experienced Shovel Driver/Loader to join a busy waste management facility in Dublin. This is a full-time role offering consistent hours and the opportunity for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a shovel loader to move and manage waste materials efficiently and safely.
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of machinery.
Load waste into processing units, trucks, or containers.
Collaborate with yard and plant staff to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Valid and up-to-date shovel loader/operator license (e.g., CSCS or equivalent).
Proven experience operating heavy plant machinery in a similar environment.
Strong awareness of site safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and a strong work ethic.
