Oversee all onsite material processing, recovery, and final disposal operations.
Ensure full compliance with Environment Agency site permits and applicable legislation.
Champion health, safety, and wellbeing of all operational personnel and visitors.
Lead and develop the onsite team, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and compliant transport of materials.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and conduct competency assessments.
Actively contribute to site SHEQ working groups and management meetings.
Drive efficiency in plant operations while maintaining material output standards.
Manage site costs and approve payroll submissions.
Requirements
5–7 years’ experience in a supervisory or site management role.
Background in waste management, construction, or industrial settings is advantageous.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with operational reporting tools is a plus.
Full, clean driving licence required.
