About the Role: Dangan Group Recruitment is currently hiring on behalf of a leading provider of commercial cleaning equipment. We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Field-Based Service Technician to join our client’s service team. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of floor cleaning equipment at customer sites across Dublin and the East Coast. Key Responsibilities:
Travel to customer sites to conduct diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial cleaning equipment.
Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating technical issues and solutions to clients.
Work in collaboration with the internal service team to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
Maintain and manage all tools, parts, and a company-provided service van.
Keep up to date with new technologies through in-house and manufacturer training.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical or mechanical repair (essential).
Practical knowledge of machine diagnostics and fault-finding.
Previous experience in a field service role is an advantage.
Sales or merchandising experience is beneficial but not required.
Valid driver’s licence is essential.
Problem-solver with strong communication and organisational skills.
